A child seeking refuge in a dark storm
A joey in a hungry lion’s den
 
I am distraught without you
Evil thoughts creep my mind
No matter how hard I try
 
I am not me without you
Never knowing what to do
Who am I, I have forgotten
 
I am dark without you
No sunshine in my heart
Just numbness, just emptiness
 
I am gone without you
Down to the abyss of nowhere
Can not be found
 
Look in my eyes
See the swelling depth
