Thanksgiving

A Guam sunset is always magnificent.

For each sunrise and sunset
The air, the wind, the breeze
Even thunder and lightning
The scorching heat or the icy snow
I thank You

For family near and far
Closeness beyond measure
Even thru the spats and jokes
And the acceptance of faults
I thank You

For friends old and new
They all know who they are
Even those who are friends no more
And those I just let be
I thank You

For every blessing and heartache
For surprises and curveballs
Even that which make me fall
And question the goodness of it all
I thank You

For everything that You've done
Given and challenged me with
Even at my deepest abyss
And Your light is all I have
I thank You

For the love that You bring
My life, my faith and my hopes
Even when I don't follow
And You guide me back to life
I thank You

I thank You for it all. And I thank all.
